Nancy Gay Can Kiss My Arse, Again

"I wanted to be here and appreciate the opportunity. I understand the nature of this business, I wish nothing but the best for the Raider organization." - Formal Statement released by Norv Turner

What was it again that Nancy Gay wrote?: "Turner is sick and tired of owner Al Davis rummaging through his game plans every week, inserting schemes and lineup changes. If they didn't pan out, guess who was the fall guy?"

Look, I'm just trying to make a point... we are going to read all sorts of Al Hater Crap in the coming weeks... we have heard it all before: "No self-respecting coach will work for the meddling dictator Al Davis, blah, blah, f-ing blah, blah, blah"... I'm sure some of these mediot writers will just search their archived files for old articles from Al's previous coaching searches and dust them off ... Hey, If Al Davis was such a monster to work for why does John Madden still call him his best friend?, why does Joe Bugel still speak so reverently about him?? Why has the Great Art Shell stated publicly through his agent that he "will serve if called" ??? Why is the Great Tom Flores still closely connected to the Raiders???? Why would Fassell who was part of a previous failed Raider regime be considered a candidate today?????

Lets remember, Al Davis will go at his own pace, gather all the information he feels he needs and make what he feels is the best decision for our beloved Oakland Raiders...

The Norv Turner thing didn't work out but he is a highly respected football guy, a good man, a classy man and I wish him well---- unless of course he becomes a Coordinator in the AFC West!!!!!!!

PS, to my buddies at the old Tri-State Raider Boosters... esp. Ivan and Darren, if your reading this pls email me at thetooz@mosszone.com

I am so sick and tired of hearing the media and fans rip on Al. I am listening to The Herd on ESPN this morning and he compared the Raiders to the Lions. Are you kidding me. At Norvs press conference a reporter asked why things have been bad for "all these years" Unreal. How long ago was it that the Raiders were in the Super Bowl. How long ago was it when we dominated the AFC West year after year. How long ago was it that Al was a "Genious" for bringing in the right veterans. I have been a Raider fan since I was 2 years old. Not a fan that wears the Raider colors and then has to ask how the game went because they had to go out to eat with their wife. I don't miss a game. I bleed silver and black like many of you who are reading this do. I am so sick of hearing people rip on Al. Atleast we don't rebuild for 10 years at a time. Al always, always spends the money, goes after the free agents, and gives you hope every year. Oh yeah, and has won a few football games, AFC West Titles, AFC Championships, and Super Bowls along the way. Its been 3 years since the Super Bowl run, so now it has been so long since we have been good. Come on, how many teams can say they have been in the Superbowl this decade. How many can dominate a division for 4-5 years. It is so easy to forget when times are tough but Al will right the ship. He always does. Remember, at Penn State football had passed JO PA by too. When you know football and players inside and out, I don't care how supposedly advanced the game gets, you still know football. And Al knows football. Listen to the idiot 30-40 year olds media guys on the radio or tv and he needs to go. He doesn't know what he is doing. He is washed up. Yeah they know football. They once played in a pee wee game with a mix of boys and girls in 4th grade and accidentaly touched a girls boob and wet themselves, so they know football. Then listen to the people who haved lived the game. Coaches, GM's, Players and they will all tell you the same thing. The Raiders have accomplished what they have because of Al. And for those of you who are too stupid and are laughing saying "what accomlishements?" Go past the last three years and look at the winning percentage, the playoff births, the AFC West and AFC crowns, and the Super Bowls. Then for all the true Raider fans, shut your trap.

BUMP to all your comments. The media has a hard-on for the Raiders and Al. I don't know what it is that is so appealing about taking a shit and rolling around in it like a dog, but they love to just ham it up at our expense. I wrote to tham all and told them to stay the fuck off our bandwagon when we got good a couple years ago. We don't want/need/or like them at all. National and local they are all the same.

Remember when we had the best record in Football, were playing a team at home in the playoffs, we just beat them at home to end the season, and all we could hear about was that Chad Pennington walked on water?

I left that game laughing my ass off at the IDIOT media. The only ones worse are those that write the drivel are that get their opinions to go from these "libelists"

dan, thanks for the info... I thought I had scanned through all the articles ... missed that one... yes I agree 100% re Gannon, I believe he will remain connected to Al and the Raiders for years to come... perhaps one day he will make it offcial and coach or take a head office job

Hi dan, another example of Killion creative writing....many, many Raider legends and other NFL executives have spoken glowingly about the Raiders and specifically Al Davis... everyone agrees the Silver and Black have fallen recently but they also know Al will have them on top again
